Q. What is SICILY LIFESTLE?
A. A whole new concept in vacationing, did you every wish you can visit everywhere, see what others have not, enjoy what you never imagined, Have someone bring to tall the greatest site, drive a Porsche on the sea coast or just having someone taking pictures and filming for you! Haven't we all been to shy to have our pictures taken by strangers, no more, you will have pictures taken of both of you, you will have memories filmed and edited for you, you will do what you want to do, not have a fixed itinerary like the others, you are on vacation, so you dedicate your vacation, what we do promise is a vacation like no other, sightseeing like you can only dream and the best time of your life!

Q. What happens if my flight is delayed and I arrive late at the airport? Who do I tell?
A. You can call us 24/7, and we will follow the arrival time, someone will be there to pick you up, regardless of time!
Q. When do I have to check out by?
A. Standard check-out does not apply here, being a 7 day holiday, we will be bring you back to the airport
Q. I'm arriving late on Saturday evening - the shops will be shut. What can I eat?
A. A lunch can be arranged at the villa, or a restaurant near by the airport.
Q. Do you only work in Sicily?
A. Yes, we specialise in Sicily tours for now, but we will being offering in Montreal, Canada shortly.
Q. What's driving in Sicily like?
A. In the larger cities, such as Palermo and Catania, driving can sometimes be a little challenging, as in most large, busy cities around the world. It is not dangerous, however, partly because the traffic rarely moves fast enough to be so! Sicilians are quite "inventive" drivers and tend to consider that they always haveãright of way. They are not aggressive, however, and one merely needs to get used to their unspoken rules. Many visitors actually rather enjoy it! Driving around Sicily is very easy: the motorways are never really busyãand your day trips will be relatively stress free!
Q. How safe is Sicily?
A. Sicily is a very safe place - don't believe the stereotypes and clichés! Large cities, such as Palermo and Catania, are much safer than other cities in Italy (and indeed the rest of the world) and as long as you take the normal precautions you should not have any problems. In the smaller towns muggings or bag-snatching are virtually unheard of.
Q. We're coming from North America. What is the voltage in Italy? Should we bring adaptors or something?
A. Electricity in Italy is 220v (as opposed to 110volts in the US). Most laptops are designed to work at both 200v and 100v. If you have an appliance which only works at 110v you will need to buy a voltage converter as they are difficult to find in Italy. You will also need a universal plug adaptor as Italy's sockets are designed for 2 round-pronged plugs.
Q. We were planning on bringing some DVDs from America. Will they work on European DVD players?
A. Probably not, unfortunately. American DVD players and discsãare "Region 1", while Italian ones are "Region 2", making them incompatible. Many of our villas have Sky Movies, though, so you don't need to be entirely without films!
Q. Will my US cell phone work in Italy?
A. If you haveãa GSM cell phone, it should work in Italy. Once arrived you can buy a SIM card
Q. Can I smoke in the villa?
A. Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms, elsewhere in the villa, yes.
Q. Do your villas accept pets?
A. Yes!! and we also provide Petsitting while you enjoy Sicily. Please e-mail us for more info and pricing.
Q. We plan to relax as much as possible and would love to have a masseuse come to our villa once or twice. Is this possible?
A. Once again, we'd be happy to organise this in many of our villas. Just let us know in advance...
Q. Is there a washing machine?
A. Our villas have washing machines.
Q. Is there an iron and ironing board at my villa?
A.ãYes, we offer iron and an ironing board.
Q. Is it possible to arrive and/or depart on any day of the week or do you have a set arrival-departure day?
A. We are very flexible on arrival and departure days, especially in the low seasons from October to April. This also means that you can take advantage of cheaper mid-week flights. In the high season, most of our stays are from Saturday to Saturday.
Q. Will I be able to access the Internet?
A. Yes and No, There is no internet access at the villa, but we gladly bring you to the local internet café, don't forget you are on vacation! You should leave your laptop at home, chances are you wont have the time to use it anyways!
Q. Ok, What will be eating? Can we choose from a menu or will the cook decide?
A. You will be eating the best Sicilian cuisine as to offer, not from a menu but from what you would like to try, maybe some fish that we just caught from our afternoon boat ride? That is one thing that never runs short of, food in abundance! Let us know your preferences/dietary requirements (i.e. fish, meat, no sea-food etc.). Take a look at our definitive page of Sicilian recipes for an idea of the delicious things the locals are lucky enough to eat! A great many Sicilian dishes are vegetarian so members of your group who don't eat meat/fish will still have an amazing gastronomic experience!
Q. It is my wife's 50th birthday while we are in Sicily. Can you organise a special dinner party and some live music, maybe a small jazz band?
A. Just let us know as soon as possible and we'll be able to sort something out in many of our villas.
Q. What if I have children, what do you offer?
A. Being a parent, we understand vacationing is some work, but we take care of all of you, including babysitting while you enjoy yourself, we can cater to all, and we will make it enjoyable for the children as much for the adults!
Q. Should I take out travel insurance for my vacation?
A. It is a condition of booking with Sicily Lifestyle that you take out adequate travel insurance and automotive insurance, being that you have access to our small fleet of vehicles.ãMany credit card companies include holiday& car insurance as do other more general insurance policies, so you should first check these.
Q. what is included in your prices?
A. Everything! We are the Club Med of vacation and activities, including 24/7 concierge service, water sports, motorcycle guided rides, day excursions in a Porsche, all food, etc...... Prices are shown in Euros per week, there are certain restrictions.
Q. How can I check availability on-line?
A. You can check availability on line, although not in real-time, we will confirm reservation within a maximum of 48 hours.
Q. Do you arrange flights?

A. Of course! Your vacation starts the moment you land, from there we at your disposal 24/7!
